HOW DOES AARP HELP ADVOCATE FOR OLDER AMERICANS? Sometimes older Americans need someone to stand up for them, offer protection and guidance, and advocate on their behalf. AARP strives to

improve government policies on senior issues, provides pro bono legal services to those in need, and helps fight fraud and identity theft. WHAT DO VOLUNTEERS DO TO HELP UNDERSERVED AND

VULNERABLE ADULTS? Volunteers, including attorneys, social workers and those with non-legal backgrounds, are all welcome to join AARP’s efforts so that underserved and vulnerable adults are

treated with justice and equity.
