alleged stabbing at a property in Birmingham that left a man fighting for his life. The incident took place in Henley Street in Sparkbrook at around 1.15pm on Tuesday (June 3). A 27-year-old
man was said to have been ‘seriously injured’ after suffering from ‘stab injuries’ in the incident. West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the incident and said they treated a man who was

said: “We were called to reports of a stabbing at an address on Henley Street in Sparkbrook at around 1.20pm on Tuesday (June 3). Article continues below “An ambulance, paramedic officer, a
MERIT (Medical Emergency Response Intervention Team) trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance were sent to the scene. “On arrival,
crews found a man in a critical condition. Ambulance staff administered advanced trauma care before he was conveyed to hospital via land ambulance.” He was rushed to hospital and remains in

“We've charged a man after another man was found with stab injuries in Sparkbrook on Tuesday (3 June). “We were called to an address in Henley Street at around 1.15pm and discovered a
man seriously injured. The 27-year-old remains in a serious condition in hospital. “Gamil Alfakih, aged 38, has been charged with attempted murder and will appear before Birmingham
Magistrates Court today.”
