GOOD HOPE HOSPITAL HAS BEEN CRITICISED FOR NOT HAVING ENOUGH PARKING SPACES 04:51, 01 Jun 2025 Andrew Mitchell is pushing for a new multi-storey car park to be built at Good Hope Hospital to
alleviate parking issues for staff and visitors. The Sutton Coldfield MP said he had an 'excellent meeting' with the hospital's executive director, Simon Jarvis, on moving
forward with the plans which have been brewing for '25 years'. It's hoped a new car park would bring an end to adjacent roads being clogged up with cars. READ MORE: CHAOS

options aimed at supporting patients’ and colleagues’ needs". Article continues below Mr Mitchell said he's helping hospital chiefs liaise with Birmingham City Council over the

purchase a small strip of council-owned land which is currently used at Good Hope for patient and visitor surface parking. "It is hoped that if the purchase is successful, the site may
be used for a multi-storey parking facility in the future." He added: "Last week I had an excellent meeting with Simon Jarvis. "We talked about the plans for a multi storey
