"I had the lamb karahi which was amazing. Succulent, perfectly spiced with delicious flavour and spicy lamb chops - all piping hot.

"The naan bread was great and coupled with the other side dishes we had, it was a 'will definitely come here again' experience.

‌ "Very attentive staff and great surroundings, this is highly recommended."

A different diner identified as Kristina added: "Amazing food and friendly staff. The ambiance feels like a slice of Kabul, making it a memorable dining experience."

And another guest posted: "We had a deluxe platter mix. The food and service was outstanding.

‌ "Highly recommend the platter if you are with more than seven people, definitely worth the money."

However, a recent visitor left a one-star review on Google and said they 'would never go back'.

Accusing the restaurant of selling cans with marks on, the diner claimed the restaurant was 'dirty'.

‌ The customer said: "Would never go back to this place. Literally every plate, glass, piece of cutlery was dirty.

"Meat was disgustingly fatty and chappal kabab was eggy black mush.

"Even have the cheek to sell marked cans for £2. Guy just shrugged and said that's the price."

‌ The restaurant owner of My Kabul disputed allegations and accused the diner of 'leaving a review that doesn't accurately reflect the experience'.

In response to the customer, the restaurant owner advised the customer 'to have some mercy on yourself on the day of judgement'.

My Kabul responded: "Thank you for sharing your feedback. We apologise if our prices didn't meet your expectations.

‌ "We've checked our records and confirmed that the prices were clearly displayed and communicated to you before your purchase. You also confirmed the prices before making the payment.

"We understand that sometimes customers may still have concerns, and we're willing to listen and discuss.

"However, leaving a review that doesn't accurately reflect the experience can be misleading to others and it shows what sort of mindset some people have to lie.
