“seeks to reduce low-cost flights from 72% to 60%”, “wishes to diversify the airline base” and “believes the area has potential to attract premium companies”. The area might, but the
airport certainly does not. Two thoughts here: First, Bordeaux Merignac was last year voted not only worst in France, but worst in Europe (an assessment I wholeheartedly support). Read more:

EasyJet near miss in 2022. Perhaps they should start to think rather more about facilities (especially the cattle pen that is the appalling Billi terminal) and the effective delivery of
