popular Garmin fitness watch(Image: Amazon) As many people are counting down to their summer holidays, some of them want to make sure they look their best while they soak in the glorious
sunshine. This has motivated many people to start prioritising their health and fitness as their flight time looms closer.
In order to keep themselves in check, many people have purchased a fitness watch that can track their steps, heart rate and a wide range of activities. However, with many different
smartwatches on the market, it can be difficult to choose which one best fits your needs without breaking the bank.
Amazon has cut the price of one popular and reliable device, which will save shoppers £85. The Garmin vívoactive 5 smart watch normally retails for £259.99, but fitness fanatics can now snap
it up for only £174.49 in a limited time deal.

The Garmin watch is said to give you a more complete picture of your health with its bright, colourful display and up to 11 days of battery life. One unique feature with this watch is the
Body Battery energy monitor. This feature lets you know when you are 'charged up' and when you are in need of a rest.
For those who struggle with sleep, the device collects data about your sleeping to provide a sleep score and personalised coaching to help you achieve a better night of rest. Along with more
than 30 built-in indoor and GPS sports apps, the watch can also monitor your stress levels, fitness age, workouts, heart rate and much more.
Additionally, this watch is designed with wheelchair users in mind as it will track your pushes rather than steps. On top of this, the device comes with a range of push and handcycle
activities that come with preloaded workouts to help with strength, cardio and other specific challenges.

looking watch and works fine when i’m on the treadmill and adding steps to my daily total. Loads of functions for the serious fitness fanatic. Would recommend."
While another five-star reviewer added: "This is a really great fitness watch I have had lots of Fitbit’s which were really good but this Garmin is so much better."
However, some reviewers noted a few issues with the device. One person wrote: "Great watch but has anyone had problems getting text message notifications on it? I can get notifications for
everything else but not messages, I have an iPhone and have tried all the setting changes recommended."
While a four-star reviewer said: "Love this watch bought to replace old one. Only down fall is that as it is touch screen steps seem to count even when you are only moving your arm. I have
to wear it on my left hand instead of right now as counts when brushing my teeth."

positive about the smart watch, with another shopper writing: "I've had this watch for two years now, and it's truly life changing. Two friends and my dad have got one on my recommendation,
I should be on commission.
"For me, the gamification of exercise really works. I like working to get badges and challenges, and competing against friends. And there's no lying, I'm pretty lazy so my runs pre-watch
were generally no faster than brisk walks, but with one of the coaching plans the watch tells me if I'm running too slowly, or my heart rate isn't high enough."
A fourth happy shopper also said: "Great bit of kit for those looking to start tracking any sports activities. Easy to use and a good range of functions I am still learning about a month
into using it. The battery also lasts for days and charges really quick.
"I have the black version which it is subtle and not flashy and goes with my outfits. Well worth the investment overall."
