THE SCOTTISH COURT SERVICE CONFIRMED THE FAI WILL TAKE PLACE ON JANUARY 29. 10:08, 13 Dec 2024 A Fatal Accident Inquiry (FAI) is being held into the death of a "much loved" Scots
dad who died in a horror crash between a van and a lorry. Colin Elliot, 50, was pronounced dead after the van he was driving collided was a lorry on the A1 north of Eyemouth at around 3.30am
on January 19, 2023. The Scottish Court Service confirmed the FAI will take place on January 29. It will be held within Sheriff Court House in Castlegate, Jedburgh, Scottish Borders. The
purpose of a Fatal Accident Inquiry (FAI) includes determining the cause of death; the circumstances in which the deaths occurred, and to establish what, if any, reasonable precautions could
have been taken, and could be implemented in the future, to minimise the risk of future deaths in similar circumstances. JOIN THE DAILY RECORD WHATSAPP COMMUNITY! Get the latest news sent

are all deeply saddened by the passing of Colin Elliot. Colin was a much loved husband, father, step-father, son and brother. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him and had the
