DONALD TRUMP HAS BEEN WORKING WITH WAR EXPERTS TO CREATE A DEMONSTRATION OF WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF A MISSILE WAS LAUNCHED AT THE US WITH THEIR NEW SO-CALLED 'GOLDEN DOME' IN PLACE
09:35, 31 May 2025 New photos show what would happen if missiles were sent towards America with Donal Trump's new 'Golden Dome'. Visualisation from The Defense Intelligence
Agency's (DIA) recently released unclassified assessment titled “Golden Dome for America: Current and Future Missile Threats to the U.S. Homeland”. It shows simulated incoming missile
attacks from China, Russia, Iran and North Korea. Trump previously shared plans to encase the US in a so-called "dome," to protect them from attacks. The US President previously
announced the $175billion "Golden Dome" missile defence system, a space and ground-based shield intended to intercept missiles fired at the United States from anywhere in the
world. The system, inspired by Israel’s Iron Dome but vastly larger in scale, will combine ground and space-based sensors and interceptors, marking the first time the US would deploy weapons
in space. During a press conference on Tuesday (May 20), the president promised the system would be operational within three years, before the end of his term, and appointed Gen. Michael
Guetlein, vice chief of space operations, to lead the project. Article continues below Now, officials have shown what it would look like and how it would protect Americans from missiles from
Russia, North Korea, China and other countries. The photo, meant to reassure Americans and put off Putin, contains several arrow marks from different areas of the globe. According to them,
Chinese missiles would mostly land in the north of the US, while Russian could reach north, east and west. The only threat listed from Iran appears to be the east. Previously speaking to US
troops inside a hangar at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar during his ongoing Middle East tour, the US leader described the multi-billion-dollar system as a huge leap in America’s defence. “It
will cost many billions of dollars, all made in the USA,” he said. “It was called the Iron Dome, but I changed it to the Golden Dome. I thought it was a little more beautiful.” Trump added:
“We won World War II and we are now stronger than ever. We want to build a ‘golden dome’ to protect our skies. We will build the F-47 fighter jet and develop the F-35 fighters.” The Iron
Dome relies on an integrated system of radars, computer processors, and interceptor missiles to protect cities and critical infrastructure from short-range threats. "It's the
difference between a kayak and a battleship," said Jeffrey Lewis, a missile defence expert at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Article continues below
