fellow passenger just moments before take-off. A video taken inside the aircraft of the incident has since surfaced that shows the man leaning over the chair in front of him looking confused

as cabin staff surround him. The man had vomited on his seat and on the person in front of him on the night of 25 May. According to reports, EVA Air flight 45 was about to leave Taiwan

Taoyuan International Airport when passengers heard retching. He appeared dazed and limp, smelled of alcohol and other passengers reported seeing an empty bottle of whiskey. At least six

staff can be seen either side of his seat which is in the middle aisle, with one removing his rucksack from the plane and another asking him to ‘stand up’. Article continues below Cabin crew

could be heard asking him: “Do you need a wheelchair? Calling for a wheelchair, calling for a wheelchair. “Stand up, stand up, please stand up.” One witness told local media: “The cabin

door was already closed, and then that person started vomiting. “There was an older man on his right, and when he saw him vomiting, he immediately stood up. “The flight attendants later

helped move that older man’s seat, but that whole row was then blocked off and no one could sit there.” Staff made the man disembark so they could clean the seat and the flight, which was

travelling to Vienna, Austria, was delayed by about 30 minutes because of the incident. A witness recalled: “It smelt heavily of ginger duck with lots of alcohol. He probably drank it before

boarding. Article continues below “His friend wasn’t asked to get off, only he himself was removed.” _FOR THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS AND STORIES FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE FROM THE DAILY STAR,
