The 48 year old actress, known for her role as Karen Taylor - Walford's down-on-her-luck mum - from 2017 to 2024, is famous for her character's less-than-glamorous style, dishevelled hair

and ever-slipping bra strap.

‌ Now, almost a year since she waved goodbye to Albert Square, Lorraine looks worlds apart from her soap persona.

‌ On Monday (June 2), the star dazzled her Insta followers by parading her new svelte figure, having reportedly dropped five stone.

She hit up her Instagram in a green and pink floral crop top and trouser ensemble at a swish bingo event in Portsmouth.
