Extending his relationship with British television, Jon Hamm will co-star in a feature-length special of International Emmy-winning satirical drama _Black Mirror_. Rafe Spall and Oona

Chaplin are also joining Hamm in the special to air at Christmas on the UK’s Channel 4. The anthology series, which taps into contemporary unease about the modern world in audacious ‘What

if?’ scenarios, has aired two runs of three episodes each since 2011. The holiday episode, which begins filming in the UK this week, will showcase three interwoven stories of “Yuletide

techno-paranoia.” Channel 4 says it “may well be the most mind-bending episode yet.” Hamm’s character appears in all three stories contained within the as-yet untitled episode, and serves as

the link that brings them together into “a suitably unsettling whole.” Hamm, who has appeared in two seasons of Sky’s _A Young Doctor’s Notebook_, has been a “massive fan of the show since

its inception. Its dark humor and intelligent observation of our society and values hooked me deeply as a viewer and I’m honored that Charlie and the rest of the creative team have asked me

to participate in wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas.” The series was created by Charlie Brooker, the UK writer, host and producer who recently launched production company House Of

Tomorrow at Endemol. He said today, “I’m revoltingly happy that Jon, Rafe and Oona are participating in the horrible pageant that is _Black Mirror_. As far as I’m concerned their presence is

a huge Christmas present that’s arrived early.” Previous guest stars have included Rory Kinnear, Jessica Brown Findlay, Hayley Atwell, Domhnall Gleeson, Allen Leech, Tom Cullen and Rupert

Everett. In 2013, Robert Downey Jr optioned rights to the episode _The Entire History Of You_. WATCH ON DEADLINE _Black Mirror_ is produced by Barney Reisz and executive produced by Brooker

and Annabel Jones through House of Tomorrow. Carl Tibbets is directing. Endemol Worldwide Distribution handles global rights.
