The 29th annual Critics Choice Awards are set for Sunday, January 14 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. Chelsea Handler returns to host the ceremony, which begins at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET
and will air live on the East Coast and in Los Angeles on The CW. Los Angeles’ CW affiliate, KTLA-5, will also host a red carpet show beginning at 2 p.m. PT. The three-hour awards ceremony
will be tape-delayed elsewhere in the Pacific time zones. Online, updates will be provided on Twitter (X) and Instagram via @CriticsChoice and on Facebook/CriticsChoiceAwards. The awards
show organized by the Critics Choice Association had been set to take place at Los Angeles’ Fairmont Century Plaza, where it had been held the past two years. The group made the move to
Santa Monica because of a labor dispute at the hotel. WATCH ON DEADLINE As for the show, it will honor the year’s best in film and television. _Barbie _leads all Critics Choice nominations
with 18, with its Barbenheimer teammate _Oppenheimer _and _Poor Things_ following with 13. _Killers of the Flower Moon_ has 12. In TV nominations, _The Morning Show _is tops with six,
followed by _Succession_ with five. _Abbott Elementary_, _The Bear_, _Beef_,_ Lessons In Chemistry_, _Loki_, _Reservation Dogs_ and _A Small Light _have four apiece. In addition to Handler,
the show will feature a list of presenters that includes Abigail Spencer, Angela Bassett, Anthony Ramos, Ashley Madekwe, Awkwafina, Bella Ramsey, Brendan Fraser, Carla Gugino, Daniel Levy,
David Duchovny, David Oyelowo, Donald Faison, Gael García Bernal, Giacomo Gianniotti, Jason Segel, Jenny Slate, Jessica Williams, John Krasinski, Jon Cryer, Kaley Cuoco, Ke Huy Quan, Mandy
Moore, Meg Ryan, Natasha Lyonne, Nicholas Braun, Oprah Winfrey, Phil Dunster, Ramy Youssef, Sandra Oh and Vanessa Morgan. Also, Harrison Ford will receive the Critics Choice Lifetime
Achievement Award, presented by his Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny director James Mangold, and America Ferrera the SeeHer Award presented by her Barbie co-star Margot Robbie. Both
Ford and Ferrera are nominated for individual awards this year. The 29th annual Critics Choice Awards show is executive produced by Bob Bain Productions and Berlin Entertainment.
