to star in Tuner, a new crime thriller directed by Oscar winner Daniel Roher (Navalny), for which Black Bear is launching sales at TIFF.
Written by Roher and Robert Ramsey, the film tells the story of a talented piano tuner whose life is turned upside down when he discovers that his meticulous skills for tuning pianos can
equally be applied to cracking safes.

To Star Opposite Timothée Chalamet In A24’s ‘Marty Supreme’ JoAnne Sellar and Lila Yacoub will produce, with production kicking off in Toronto in October. Debra Zane is the casting director.
Black Bear will represent the international rights to the film while UTA Independent Film Group will rep the U.S. rights. Elevation Pictures is co-producing and will also release the film
in Canada.
Breaking out with his role as Jack in the second season of HBO’s The White Lotus, Woodall has since gone on to star as Dex in the romantic drama One Day, Netflix’s acclaimed adaptation of
the bestseller by David Nicholls. Most recently wrapping opposite Russell Crowe, Rami Malek and Michael Shannon on James Vanderbilt’s Nuremberg, he’ll next be seen in the new Bridget Jones
film Mad About the Boy, also leading the conspiracy thriller series Prime Target for Apple TV+.
Watch on Deadline A two-time Oscar winner and seven-time nominee, Hoffman is part of the starry ensemble of Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis, which premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film
Festival and will be released by Lionsgate in September. Most recently, he wrapped opposite Helen Hunt on an untitled new film from Peter Greenaway.
Roher is coming off an Oscar win for 2022’s Navalny, which received the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, as well as Sundance’s 2022 Festival Favorite Award and the BAFTA Award for
Best Documentary. His latest project, Blink, will be released by National Geographic/Disney this fall.
Woodall is represented by Hamilton Hodell, Anonymous Content, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman; Hoffman by WME and Tavistock Wood; and Roher by UTA and Gang, Tyre, Ramer, Brown & Passman.
