the leave travel concession (LTC) scam against Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Sahani today approached a special court saying he wanted to turn approver in the case. The accused moved the

application before special CBI judge Virender Kumar Goel, who sought the CBI's reply on the plea by April 26, the next date of hearing. Anup Singh Panwar, an employee of Delhi-based Air

Cruise Travels Private Limited who was granted bail along with Sahani and one more person yesterday, moved the plea stating that he wanted to assist the prosecution in the case to unearth

the conspiracy. The court had yesterday granted bail to Sahani, Panwar and N S Nair, the then Office Superintendent of Air India, on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and surety of like amount to

each in the CBI case for allegedly using fake bills to claim LTC. While granting the relief, the court, however, put several conditions on the accused and asked them not to leave the

country without its permission. The court passed the order after the accused appeared before it in pursuance to the summons issued to the them and moved the bail application. The court had

on March 16 summoned Sahani, Nair, Panwar and Arvind Tiwari, who works with Murgai Travels, to appear before it after taking cognisance of the CBI charge sheet filed against them. According

to the court sources, an NBW has been issued against Tiwari as he failed to appear before the court in pursuance to the summon issued to him. The agency had filed the final report under

various sections dealing with cheating, forgery and under provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act. (This article has not been edited by DNA's editorial team and is auto-generated
