judicial custody. It has come to light that the constable is married for several years now and had been troubling the girl to marry him. Notably on Sunday evening, a B Ed student was

allegedly molested at Civil Lines Metro station by a constable tasked with metro’s security. The girl had alleged that a guard had been troubling her for past few days and asked for her

mobile number and on Sunday he allegedly took her mobile phone in the lift at the station and tried to force himself. The girl commutes in metro regularly and on Sunday she was stopped and

misbehaved with by the guard who even snatched her mobile phone. After the incident, the girl raised an alarm and rushed towards the public area, as a result, a huge crowd gathered at the

spot. The guard meanwhile ran away from the spot. Meanwhile, after the incident the family members raised the issue and reached the metro police station to register an FIR in the matter for

attempting to rape.
