cruising through his fourth Tasvacations Classic Rallye and sitting in the drivers seat for the third time.
Mr Judge has been a car enthusiast for as long as he can remember, but his love for Targa ignited after navigating for the rallye’s tour leader Geoff Cuthbert four years ago.
Crowds of people gathered on kerbs around George Town to catch a glimpse of the cars. “People love it because it is so social,” Mr Judge said.
The Targa tour has become his annual holiday. “It’s hard is to do something ... on a regular basis that you thoroughly enjoy,” he said.
While Mr Judge declared himself an average driver, he took the town’s sharp right turns like a pro.
Waving, beeping and interacting with the community is something Mr Judge always looks forward to. The classic rallye is a non-competitive category. Drivers follow a lead car which sets the
pace for the convoy.
