Join us on WhatsAppCCTV has been released after a dog was beaten in a horrific attack in a block of flats in Huddersfield.
The tan and white bully type dog was seen to be dragged about by the collar before the man stamps on the dog's head twice. The attack happened in the corridor of a block of flats on
Hanson Lane in the Lockwood area of Huddersfield.
CCTV of the attack has been passed to the RSPCA who have issued photographs of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which took place on 8 May at 6pm.
An RSPCA spokesman said: "The footage shows a man raising his arm and roughly pulling the tan and white dog by the collar before attempting to kick the animal. The dog moves off along the
corridor before stopping next to a fire exit, where the man is seen to jump up and stamp on the dog’s head twice with his right foot."

They said it is not known whether the man is the owner of the dog. RSPCA Inspector Demi Hodby, who is investigating said: “The RSPCA would like to speak to the man seen in this very
upsetting footage as we believe he may hold vital information. We’re very keen to find out more about this incident, and check on the welfare of the dog involved, so we hope this individual
comes forward or can be identified as we believe he can support our enquiries.”
