McDonald's fans are up in arms following the removal of what many regard as "the best" menu item, with the chain confirming that it has ceased offering the popular Chicken Bacon Caesar

Wrap.

Often pitted against competitors like KFC, Burger King, and Subway, McDonald's has made the executive decision to axe the fan-favourite wrap that featured crispy lettuce and bacon

smothered in creamy dressing, priced at £5.19.

Originally introduced in the summer of last year, the item was quietly pulled from the menus earlier this month, leaving patrons in Birmingham and beyond disappointed, reports Birmingham

Live.

In a statement, a McDonald's spokesperson explained: "As part of our regular wrap rotation, we've taken the Caesar wrap off the menu for now. We're always evolving our menu

with our customers in mind to keep things fresh and exciting."

On Reddit, the disappearance of the wrap sparked a flurry of comments, with one user posting: "Where has it gone? Please don't tell me it's discontinued. It's the best one of

them all!" Another disgruntled customer wrote: "What the hell? ! Why's this not been publicised anywhere. It was the best one of all of them."

A third expressed frustration over the new offerings: "I can't believe they've decided to go with the Katsu over it. How can I complain."

While yet another lamented the loss: "It was the only good one in this current line up, I'll gladly die in this hill." One person expressed their frustration, saying: "Just annoyed it

wasn't publicised anywhere to be honest."

Another shared their occasional preference: "Not a big fan of McDonalds generally, but the rare times I do have it, I usually order the wrap of the day meal, they are alright. Never thought

about it really, but you're right, I have never noticed anybody else have them either".

A disgruntled customer recounted a negative experience: "I once had a sweet chilli chicken wrap at a McDonalds in a service station... it was good until I found chocolate spit towards the

bottom. Will never go to a McDonalds again!".

Someone else lamented a discontinued favourite: "I miss the spicy fajita one they did pre-Covid, I'm starting to accept the reality that it's never going to come back.."

Another person gave a mixed review: "8/10 they are nice but occasionally they put some lettuce well past its prime in there or the chicken is a bit tough".
