Virgin Radio host Chris Evans, 53, told his co-stars and listeners he and his wife Natasha Shishmanian 38, had become obsessed with American drama series Big Little Lies recently. He then
asked his guest Ashley Jensen, 49, if she had seen any of it, at which point she admitted she hadn’t. Chris then informed his listeners Sky had urged him to watch the show, insisting he
would love it. He explained: “I missed the first season and then we found ourselves working with Sky and they said, ‘You must watch this otherwise everything finishes, it’s all over.
“‘You’ll never see a radio microphone again in your life.’ “I said ‘Okay, I’ll watch it,’ and thank God I did.” Ahead of his admission, Chris added “television has never been better” and
went on to praise Ricky Gervais’ comedy The Office as one his other favourite shows. During another episode of his show, Chris Evans spoke of an awkward moment involving his wife Natasha.
The presenter told listeners his spouse had discovered he had googled whether wearing a race helmet could have an effect on hair loss. At first he said she “didn’t understand” the question
before adding they had discussed the topic in the past. Speaking to the team, Chris said: “Okay, this is the exact wording of the search. ‘Does wearing a crash helmet make you go bald?’” His
co-presenter, Vassos Alexander quickly said: “It’s a very good question.” He then said to his co-star Rachel Horne, 40: “Rachel, watch Sky Sports golf on a Sunday evening or at the end of
their round when they take their hat off. “You’d be surprised how little hair they have.” Chris has openly spoke of his own problem with hair loss in the past. The father-of-four recently
told listeners how he almost went bald a couple of years ago. He said: “I thought next week we should do a whole bald week special for blokes who are balding. “I’ve been on drops of these
medications for years now about five or six years. “I was nearly bald and I’m not at all now. “I don’t have the thickest head of hair in the world but I do have hair now, more than I did.”
