Britney Spears' mother Lynne has written about her divorce (Image: GETTY)She wrote: “By the time she became successful, I had already made up my mind to divorce Jamie.”
The couple got divorced in 2002 but are reported to have reconciled in 2010.
In the documentary, Britney’s mother Lynne is said to want a role in her daughter’s conservatorship.
The conservatorship has reportedly put her parents at odds with each other.

The insider went on to say: “With the conservatorship being extended until the beginning of 2021, Jamie was relieved because all he wants is to keep Britney safe and at her best.”
However, Jamie is reported to have lost a court request in which he sought to have further control over the pop star’s finances.
This ruling means her father and private trust company the Bessemer Trust have equal powers.
Britney’s conservatorship was first put in place in 2008 over mental health concerns for the star.
Britney is now trying to remove the conservatorship after appearing in court in 2019 and providing documents to end the arrangement.
