Oscars 2021 aired its 93rd ceremony as part of a socially distanced event from London and Los Angeles tonight. Films which took home trophies included Nomadland, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom,
The Father and Sound of Metal. Winners of the night sparked controversy on Twitter after many noticed Viola Davis and Chadwick Boseman didn’t win anything. Viola was nominated for best
actress for her role in a Rainey's Black Bottom. The actress was up for the gong alongside Andra Day, Vanessa Kirby, Carey Mulligan and winner Frances McDormand. In the category for
