The 51-year-old actor couldn't hide his smile as he boarded a private plane in Brisbane bound for LA.  Johnny reportedly injured his right hand while on location in Australia, where he


is currently filming the fifth instalment in the Pirates series – Dead Men Tell No Tales.  The star – who plays Captain Jack Sparrow in the swashbuckling series – was forced to abandon


filming and return to the US for surgery following the incident. Movie bosses said the injury was not sustained while filming and insisted they would still make its release date.  Despite


his injury, Johnny was all smiles as he arrived at the airport in Australia.  With his hand clearly bandaged up, the actor waved to fans as he climbed aboard the jet.  Dressed in blue jeans


and a denim jacket, the star finished his quirky look with a wide-brimmed hat and mirrored aviator sunglasses.  Filming for Pirates Of The Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales began in


Australia's Gold Coast last month and stars of the upcoming movie have began trickling into the country to begin filming the high-budget movie – which is set for release in 2017.  The


latest instalment, will be the first Pirates film since 2011 and it is expected to continue the trend of the franchise by being a box-office hit. Joining Johnny Down Under is British actress


and Skins star Kaya Scodelario, 22, who will take Keira Knightley's place as the film's female lead.  Rumours are rife that Orlando Bloom will resume his role as the dashing Will


Turner, although this is get to be confirmed.  Geoffrey Rush will return to play the menacing Captain Barbossa, while Brenton Thwaites and Javier Bardem will join the illustrious cast.
