The post was later taken down with Next Level Racing issuing a statement saying: "Our team has recognized that a recent post by us using a logo has been misinterpreted by media and it
does not reflect any information from our end, and we deny knowing any information regarding the launch of GT7. "There have been assumptions made in the media that are quite simply
untrue. Due to this, we have decided to take down our previous social post. "Our Graphic Design Department used the mock logo that is circulated on the internet." But the Gran
Turismo 7 chatter didn't stop there - on the day that the PS5 reveal event was originally meant to take place Sony issued some trademarks. As reported on in a post by Inverse, Sony
trademarked in Argentina both Gran Turismo and the logo for Polyphony Digital on the day of the original PS5 event. The PS5 reveal event was originally pencilled in to take place on Thursday
June 4 before being pushed back to today (Thursday June 11).
