Monster Hunter Rise news this week. Ahead of the game's March 26 release date, Capcom hosted a Nintendo Direct-style event for the upcoming Switch game. During the event, the developer

showcased brand new Nintendo Switch gameplay footage, and revealed even more details about the action-adventure release. But the biggest and best news of all was the announcement of a brand

new Monster Hunter Rise gameplay demo. The Monster Hunter Rise demo has been given a January 8 release date on Nintendo Switch. Judging by the announcement video, the Monster Hunter Rise

will have an 8am GMT launch time for fans living in the UK. While this is clearly great news for Monster Hunter fans, there is one major drawback about the upcoming demo. Capcom has

confirmed that this is a limited time trial, which means it will only be available to download and play until February 1 at 8am GMT for UK players. The demo contains the Beginner 'Great

Izuchi' quest and the Intermediate 'Mizutsune' quest. Unfortunately, however, Monster Hunter fans will only be able to attempt these two quests a total of 30 times before the

demo becomes inaccessible. On the plus side, both quests can be played solo and with friends, either with a Nintendo Online account or locally across multiple systems. The demo also

contains a new training mode, which showcases Wirebug mechanic and Palamute riding. That's on top of a separate Wyvern Riding arena mode for new players. The Training and Wyvern Riding

modes don't count towards the quest limit, although neither will be accessible once your play the Beginner and Intermediate quests 30 times. To download the Monster Hunter Rise demo,

just visit the Nintendo Switch eShop from January 8. In addition to announcing the Monster Hunter Rise demo, Capcom revealed a brand new monster for players to hunt and kill. The Goss Harag

is described as a fanged beast that uses blades of ice to defeat its prey. The Monster Hunter Rise demo quest list in full... • Training – Learn the basics of monster hunting, including an
