Epic Games have launched a new weapon this week, alongside the return of the Reboot A Friend feature. The Fortnite Recycler was added to the game this week, without any hints or instructions
on how to use it. The only reveal that came with the Recycler was this short statement, which reads: “What’s New this week? Check out the newest item, The Recycler! “This two-handed heavy
takes advantage of junk scattered across the Island. Try it out today!” There has been no word on how long the Recycler will be available and how it might fit in with the overall storyline.
The good news is that Fortnite fans have already worked out how to use it and where they can find it. WHAT DOES THE FORTNITE RECYCLER DO IN FORTNITE? The Fortnite Recycler is a new weapon
that can be found on the island over the coming weeks. The big thing to note is that the Recycler does not need traditional ammo but uses materials that can be harvested, such as wood, Stone
and metal. There are three kinds that can be found, including the Rare, Epic, and Legendary Recycler. That means the lowest form outputs the least damage, but still reportedly fires out 75
damage against opponents. The Recycler sucks up the material that is found on the map and can use it as part of its three-projectile magazine. The good news is that the new Fortnite weapon
can be found across the map, without the need for a special challenge or mission to complete. Fortnite players can find The Recycler in Rare Chests and Supply Drops, but is less likely to
appear as floor loot. With this in mind, the Recycler shouldn’t be treated like Mythic Weapons, although it might take a few games to find one. This followed the news that a brand new
feature is coming to Fortnite on select platforms, including PC and PlayStation. Starting this week, players can stream their Fortnite gameplay to Houseparty, which will mean linking your
accounts. A message from Epic Games explains: “When you activate Fortnite Mode in Houseparty, all of your Houseparty friends will be able to see a livestream of your Fortnite gameplay.
“Houseparty will notify your friends when your game feed is available, and you’ll receive notifications when your friends are streaming. Jump into a stream, leave some words of
encouragement, and help them along the way! “Both video chat in Fortnite via Houseparty and streaming the game to the app are currently available to players on PC, PlayStation 5, and
PlayStation 4. “To install Houseparty, players will need an iOS or Android mobile device. With the app installed, connect your Houseparty account to your Epic Games account to start video
chatting or streaming. “At the moment, Fortnite gameplay integration with Houseparty is only available for PC and PlayStation (PS4 and PS5). We will let everyone know if we’re able to
support more platforms in the future.”
