POKEMON GO FANS HAVE JUST ONE MORE DAY TO NAB THOSE FREE INCUBATORS AS PART OF THE CHRISTMAS EVENT UPDATE. The Pokemon Go Christmas event comes to an end tomorrow, which means that PokeStops
will no longer award one single-use Incubator after your first Photo Disc spin. For one more day, players also have a better chance of finding eggs that hatch Togepi, Pichu, and other Johto
region Pokemon. And don't forget the special festive-themed Pikachu, which still available in greater quantities. As part of the Christmas event, Niantic also introduced gift boxes
containing useful items. There's Special Boxes for 250 coins, Great Boxes for 550 coins and Ultra Boxes for 1,500 coins. Special Boxes contain ten Great Balls and two Incubators, Great
Boxes feature 20 Great Balls, two Incense and four Incubators, while Ultra Boxes include 25 Incense, six Incubators and 20 Ultra Balls. But despite the end of the Christmas event, Pokemon Go
is still dishing out bonuses for a few more days, at least. POKEMON GO'S NEW YEAR EVENT KICKED OFF LAST WEEK, COMPLETE WITH A FRESH BATCH OF BONUSES WITH PARTNER POKEMON. From December
30 until January 8, the first partner Pokemon introduced in the Kanto region are more likely to be discovered. This includes Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard,
Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise. And to make it easier to actually find these Pokemon, your Lure modules will also last for double the amount of time, giving you 60 minutes of use
instead of just 30. POKEMON GO FANS ARE UNLIKELY TO RECEIVE THE BIG LEGENDARY POKEMON UPDATE UNTIL NEXT YEAR. Still without a release date, the Legendary Pokemon have been absent from
Pokemon since launch, although that could change in 2017. Niantic is thought to be holding them back until next spring, when players are more likely to leave the home and explore the outside
world. A spring release would also fit in with the fact that Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos are all bird Pokemon. Fans were hoping that Legendary Pokemon might have launched as part of the
Christmas update, although Niantic appears to have had other things in mind.
