UPDATE ONE: The Fortnite update will be going live very soon, following Epic Games revealing their patch deployment plans for PS4 and Xbox One. The new Battle Royale patch will be hitting

game servers at around 9am, GMT, today. That's when the scheduled downtime is expected to start, with Epic Games failing to reveal just how long scheduled maintenance could last.

"Chug Jug, MiniBosses, and Storms. Oh my! We’ll be starting downtime for V.2.3.0 tomorrow, January 25 at 4:00am ET(09:00am GMT)," An Epic Games support message confirms. Epic have

also revealed that they will be making some changes to how Server Regions in North America work. * North America will be split into: NA East + NA West. * NA East servers are located in:

Virginia and Ohio (this is currently NA today). * NA West servers are located in: Northern California and Oregon (new). These changes will be rolling out with the new Chug Jug healing item,

which takes 15 seconds to deploy but then provides max Health + Shields. FOR ALL THE OTHER MAJOR GAMEPLAY TWEAKS, PLEASE SEE THE OFFICIAL FORTNITE PATCH NOTES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE ARTICLE.

ORIGINAL: Developer Epic Games have announced that they will be releasing a new Fortnite update this week, complete with additional content. The new Chug Jug item is being launched very soon

and will include a range of buffs for anyone who gets enough time on the island to use it. The new healing item takes 15 seconds to deploy but then provides max Health + Shields. This is a

big new development and will probably need some fine-tuning after its release. The new update is being launched tomorrow, January 25, although no set release time has been confirmed. It

seems likely we’ll see an early morning release in the UK, with the development favouring timings around 8-10am of late. Battle Royale mode on PS4 and Xbox One is also getting a long list of

bugfixes, which Epic Games hopes will make the game more enjoyable to play. One new improvement will be the added setting of being able to disable aim assist on consoles. There will also be

the new ability to add an autorun setting, which will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Here’s more from Epic on the subject, who adds: “Another week, another patch!  “This week’s

update consists of bug fixes and some long-anticipated quality of life changes for Battle Royale.  “This will include an option to remove aim-assist on consoles, and more. The Winter Event

for Save the World will be ending on Jan 25. As the snow melts, Mutant Storms return.” FOR MORE ON THOSE BUG FIXES AND QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES, YOU CAN FIND ALL THE CHANGES INCLUDED IN THE
