adults, according to the NHS. Hypertension puts extra strain on blood vessels, which are responsible for delivering blood to the body’s vital organs. The condition increases your risk of

deadly complications, including heart disease, strokes and heart attacks. High blood pressure symptoms are only visible when blood pressure reaches extreme levels. “One of the most dangerous

aspects of hypertension is that you may not know that you have it,” said medical website WebMD. “In fact, nearly one-third of people who have high blood pressure don't know it. “The

chest pain are signs of high blood pressure. The chest pain could also extend to a pounding sensation in the chest, neck or ears. Finding blood in your urine is a warning symptom of

hypertension. The public should also watch out for difficulty breathing, and an irregular heartbeat. See a doctor if you have any of these symptoms, WebMD warned. They could lead to a

hypertensive crisis, which could cause heart attacks or strokes. You may be at risk of hypertension if you’re over 65, or are overweight. You can lower your blood pressure by cutting back on

the amount of salt you eat, and by eating more fruit and vegetables, the NHS said.
