As well as singing, Marti turned his hand to acting as he enjoyed a stint in theatre. In 2002, he hosted Girls' Night Out in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall. This
lead to him being offered the part of Billy Flynn in Chicago and starred in the West End production. Two years later, he reprised the character to star in the play on Broadway in New York.
