week, so please bear with us and keep trying." Initially Sainsbury's was the first and only supermarket to dedicate all its home delivery slots to the needy. However, the


supermarket was inundated with request for deliveries. Now, other supermarkets can help bear the strain by using the government's data. The emails suggest those on the governments


database will be contacted by supermarkets. They will be elligable to one delivery per week from one supermarket.
