This is because Kate is a “more senior Royal”, presumably because she has been in the family longer, is married to the second-in-line to the throne and is also the mother to a monarch.

Meghan’s husband Prince Harry is currently sixth-in-line to the throne, after Prince William and Kate’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Ms

Mackintosh-Stewart suggested Kate could ask Meghan how she could help the former actress adjust to Royal life. She said they could share stories of how marrying the brothers changed their

lives. Ms Mackintosh-Stewart told Express.co.uk: “Being a newcomer into a long-established Royal Family, Kate, as the more senior Royal, should reach out to Meghan to untangle any

misunderstandings. “Simple questions over a cup of tea like ‘how can we support you better as you adjust and transition?’ would go a long way in developing a bond between them. “Also sharing

stories, particularly humorous ones, of how she made the transition is an excellent way of bonding.” READ MORE: DID MEGHAN MARKLE'S LETTER INSPIRE SPLIT FROM PRINCE WILLIAM AND KATE?

Ms Mackintosh-Stewart is a matrimonial consultant and relationship guru on a mission to “champion positive reinforcements” in relationships and help people to become “relationship-smarter”.

She suggested that the rumours of Kate and Meghan’s spat could be put to bed if they are seen out in public together. She added that this rift must be overcome for the benefit of the whole

family. The relationship specialist said: “Tensions and rifts between sisters-in-law are fairly commonplace so the rumours between Kate and Meghan may well be true. “Yet these arguments can

and should be overcome for the sake of wider family unity, particularly when that family is the Royal Family. “The public’s hearts would no doubt melt if Meghan was to be seen visibly

accompany Kate on her school runs or do ‘girlie’ activities with her, killing all rumours of their lack of friendship.” Kensington Palace has denied a feud between the Duchesses, responding

to a Sun story with: “This never happened.” Ms Mackintosh-Stewart has also suggested Meghan reach out and try to heal the divisions within her own family too, such as with her father Thomas

and half-sister Samantha.
