Princess Beatrice and her husband-to-be, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, have been family friends for years but have only been dating for one. The couple announced their engagement last week after a

whirlwind romance. Friends and family are delighted for Edo and Bea who couldn’t be happier about their upcoming royal wedding. While royal fans already can’t wait for Edo and Bea to have

children of their own, Edoardo already has a son from a previous relationship. Christopher Woolf Mapelli Mozzi or “Wolfie” is Edo’s two-year-old son from his previous relationship with

architect Dara Huang. While Princess Beatrice’s wedding date is yet to be announced the palace has confirmed it will take place in 2020. READ MORE: Princess Beatrice tipped to have baby

within year of royal wedding The day Beatrice walks down the aisle she will not just become Edoardo’s wife but a stepmother to his son. Edoardo is protective of his son’s privacy and tries

to keep him out of the public eye, however, it seems likely Wolfie will attend his dad’s big day. Edo and Bea have been family friends for years so there’s a high chance Bea and Wolfie will

have already met and may have a good relationship. While Edoardo was reported to have split with his ex Dara just weeks before he started dating Bea, they are said to be on good terms and

still co-parent together. Odds on Beatrice and Edo having children of their own have been slashed by bookmakers Coral following their engagement. Coral makes 2021 the favourite year for

Beatrice to have her first child and has the odds at 6/4. However, plenty of punters are putting their money on 2020 being the year she welcomes a baby. Coral has the couple at 2/1 to

welcome their first child next year, and 4-1 for 2022 or later. Coral spokesman Harry Aitkenhead said: “It’s been an exciting few years for the Royal family with weddings and babies galore

and there could be more of both on the way. We make 2021 the favourite for the year that Beatrice and Edoardo start their family.” Bea’s family rejoiced following news of her engagement with

her mother Sarah Ferguson shedding “tears of joy.” In an emotional post to her daughter on Instagram Fergie wrote: “I know what a mother feels so I have tears of joy. I am so proud of this

sensational news. Andrew and I are just the luckiest people ever to have two great sons in law.” Princess Beatrice and Edoardo issued the following joint statement: “We are extremely happy

to be able to share the news of our recent engagement. “We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to actually be married. “We share so many

similar interests and values and we know that this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.”
