Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's interview with Oprah Winfrey stunned the world with their allegations against the Royal Family and the Palace. The royal couple insisted that their

mental health was not catered for and there were also race issues regarding Meghan. The Palace has since released a statement acknowledging the issues raised by the pair.  The statement

insisted that the accusations will be taken seriously and addressed privately by the Royal Family. Royal commentator Victoria Murphy noted that the Palace was forced to release this brief

statement due to the very public nature of the spat between the Sussexes and the Royal Family.  She added the Royal Family would prefer to deal with these issues privately and behind closed

doors rather than publicly.  The statement was released on Tuesday evening and read: "The following statement is issued by Buckingham Palace on behalf of her Majesty the Queen.

years have been for Harry and Meghan. "The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. "While some recollection may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be

addressed by the family privately. "Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved family members." She continued: "I think it will be interesting to see how this response

plays out. "Everything that has been said on this topic has been so public, this has been played out on the world stage. "How will this statement go down? We will have to wait and

see in the next 24 hours."
