A man has died while he was trying to rescue children at a waterfall in Brecon Beacons National Park. The incident happened in the Bannau Brycheiniog on September 1 at around 4.40pm.
Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports that a man had gone into the water at Sgwd Y Pannwr waterfall, Ystradfellte, in an attempt to rescue two children - who were later
pulled from the river. The man has since been named by Dyfed-Powys Police as 27-year-old pilot Mohananeethan Muruganantharaja, Wales Online reports. A rescue operation including multi-agency
