The mother of a slayed two-year-old girl claimed the toddler's father Facetimed her while he was choking their daughter to death. Kairsten Watson said Deontray Flanagan phoned her as he

led the police on a 30-mile chase, showing her little Zevaya covered in blood before choking her when the call was connected. The suspect was eventually arrested once officers caught up

with him and has since been charged with the girl's murder. Watson said the girl's father showed up at the Harris County Walmart store where she works after collecting Zevaya from

her daycare on March 20. The man allegedly started an argument with her, demanding she gave him her phone, later leaving the store with the girl in tow and threatening to harm her if Watson

failed to do as he asked. She said: "He just wanted my phone. He’s screaming at me telling me what is the passcode, tell me the passcode, or she’s going to get hurt, and I’m telling him

the passcode over and over, but I guess it just wasn’t enough." Flanagan then stormed out with Zevaya, sparking a 30-mile chase with the police, threatening to cause several car

accidents along the way as he drove in the wrong direction. JUST IN: MAN WHO HEARD ‘STRANGE NOISES IN ATTIC’ FOR 3 DAYS STUNNED AS HE FINDS WOMAN LIVING THERE Watson claimed her former

partner called her as he tried to flee, showing what he had done to their daughter. She told Fox Houston: "Her face was just covered in blood. He hit her with something really hard, and

then he called me on Facetime, and he showed me. "He choked her on Facetime. I said, ‘Tray stop, that is your daughter, stop, she loves you.’ His exact words were you only love that

man, you did this to her." Officers tried to resuscitate the two-year-old after finding her in her father's car once he stopped the vehicle. READ MORE: DONALD TRUMP COULD BE SAVED

BY EXPLOSIVE LETTER CLEARING HIM OF ANY ‘HUSH MONEY’ PAYMENT The girl's aunt told the press: "She was probably just thinking, 'why?' "Like, 'dad, what did I

do?' She didn't do anything but love him and be a joy to the world. And he's just an evil person." The police confirmed they had been called in twice after Flanagan was

reported, once on March 15 for a "terroristic threat" and then again the day before the murder for "telephone harassment". Flanagan appeared in court for the first time

on Wednesday evening, with a judge confirming the murder charges and increasing the bond to $2 million. The Harris County District Attorney's Office also suggested the charges could be

later upgraded. FOLLOW OUR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS HERE ON FACEBOOK.COM/EXPRESSUSNEWS AND @EXPRESSUSNEWS
