Met Office weather forecast Luke Miall explained that although some areas in the east and south will remain dry through Tuesday, the rest of the UK could see heavy downpours. He explained
that this wet weather would move in from the west and strike the mainland before moving north and eastward. He noted that in the south temperatures will remain high and can expect hazy
sunshine. Mr Miall said: “As we start the day across Scotland a bit of a west-east split as we still have this wet weather over towards western areas but for many central and eastern parts
it is a fine and sunny start. “Some mist and fog across parts of southwest Scotland and clouding over into Northern Ireland. “As we push into Wales and southwest, that is where we have got
the focus for some quite heavy showers through the morning. “If you are making any travel plans there will be some fairly tricky travel conditions out there. JUST IN: UK FORECAST WEATHER:

Tuesday afternoon. “There could be some lively downpours and a risk of some flash flooding at times too, there may be one or two isolated thunderstorms further south and east.” The weather

outbreaks of rain in the early mornings of Wednesday across western areas. “Some of these could be on the heavy and thundery side swell but staying dry across central and southwest England.
