The latest series of long-running comedy-drama kicked off on ITV last night (January 14) with the core cast members back to reprise their now iconic roles. But one supporting character who

stood out to viewers was Karen and David’s son, Josh. But who is actor Callum Woodhouse?

Josh Marsden is the son of Karen (played by Hermione Norris) and David (Robert Bathurst) in Cold Feet.

Karen and David have been staples in the series since day one but the couple divorced in series five after a number of tumultuous events in their marriage.

Josh is the eldest of the Cold Feet children and has been played by different actors over the years.

He was absent for most of series six but returned from travelling with a boyfriend in tow.

This series sees the successful publisher shocked to learn that Josh has dropped out of uni.

Episode one saw him break the news to his parents and David is a lot less understanding than Karen.

Callum Woodhouse is an English actor best known for starring in The Durrells in Corfu alongside Keeley Hawes.

The 25-year-old is from Stockton and is best known for playing middle son Leslie in The Durrells.

A relative newcomer, his other roles to date include The Hoist and B&B.

The synopsis for the latest series of Cold Feet reads: “Award-winning comedy-drama Cold Feet returns for an eighth series; Adam (James Nesbitt) is back on the singles market, but for once in

his life he’s not finding any takers – has he finally lost his mojo?

“Pete (John Thomson) on the other hand appears to have found his and, having recently renewed their wedding vows, some alfresco action is the icing on Pete and Jen's cake.

“However, mature student Jenny's (Fay Ripley) happiness is short-lived when some unexpected news sends her into a tailspin.
