Betty fans fell in love with the skateboarding drama which has now been released in full on NOW TV with episodes also airing weekly on Sky Comedy. However, some may be wondering whether the
show will be continuing into a second season or not. Here’s everything fans need to know about this, including some insight from creator Crystal Moselle.
The first season of Betty dropped on HBO back in May before landing in full on UK screens on June 9.
Fans are currently able to watch all of the show on Sky’s streaming platform NOW TV.
As well as this, the episodes are also airing weekly on Sky Comedy at 9.35pm on Tuesdays.
However, those who have already streamed all six episodes may be wondering if the show will be returning for a second season.

HBO has not announced Betty will be coming back for a second season.
The news came on June 18, much to the delight of fans of the show.
The show’s creator Crystal Moselle did reveal earlier this year how she would love to bring the series back again.
At a recent virtual launch for the show, Moselle told Express.co.uk and other media about her hopes.

When asked if she’d like to bring it back for season two she said: “Yes, I think there’s so many stories to tell.
“And what better people to deliver the story than like real, actual young women who are in the New York City skate scene?
“I think that you know they're dealing with everything that every young woman is dealing with but they have this fascinating throughline.”
Moselle also revealed one of the things she’d love to explore in the second season of the show.

Following on from the season one storyline about a cultural appropriation, she revealed she’d like to tackle this issue more.
She said: “The photoshoot story actually happened to one of our girls Ajani [Russell, who plays Indigo] in real life.
“And I think it's something that they deal with a lot, especially in fashion.
“And I think that, if we get to season two that is definitely something that we’ll be exploring more.”
Now the show is to return, viewers will be hoping to see it released in a similar time frame to season one in around May 2021.
This will be dependent on whether filming is able to begin again as normal in New York in the wake of coronavirus COVID-19.
If fans are desperate for more from the stars of Betty, they can also watch the 2018 film Skate Kitchen, which first introduced the skating stars.
While the HBO show is not a follow-up to the film, fans will be able to see the characters in action.
Betty airs on Sky Comedy on Tuesdays at 9.35pm. All six episodes are available to stream on NOW TV.
