Mercedes are coasting clear at the top of the 2017 Constructors’ Championship, with the Silver Arrows looking to wrap up their fourth title in succession. The Brackley-based team currently
hold a 145-point lead over Ferrari, meaning they will win the Championship if they leave Austin with a lead of at least 129 points. In other words, Ferrari must outscore their rivals by at
least 17 points to keep the fight alive but Mercedes will clinch the Constructors’ Championship if they win the race. Meanwhile, Red Bull and Force India are reasonably secure in third and
fourth but there is an almighty scrap further down the standings. With each point potentially worth millions of pounds, every team will be striving to finish the season strongly ahead of the
long winter break. SCROLL THROUGH THE GALLERY ABOVE TO SEE LATEST FORMULA ONE CONSTRUCTORS’ WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS AHEAD OF THE US GRAND PRIX.
