Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the excited at the prospect of Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Martial continuing their blossoming relationship when the Premier League
season resumes next week. United signed Fernandes for £46million from Sporting Lisbon in January and the midfielder proved an instant hit. The Red Devils were on an 11-match unbeaten run
before the coronavirus outbreak forced the suspension of matches. Solskjaer's side return to action against Tottenham next Friday night as they look to continue their assault on the
Champions League places. And the Norwegian boss is hoping Fernandes and Martial will be the ones who unlock enemy defences. "Anthony’s had a difficult season with injuries but he
started the season really well and he’s finishing off…well, the season’s not finished yet but he did really well towards the end," Solskjaer told Premier League Productions. "He’s
working hard and for me Anthony was on the way to his best season at Manchester United so let's see if he finishes it off and kicks on again. "Tony and Bruno [Fernandes] have hit
it off together so it’s a partnership that we hope can flourish. "We knew he was a quality player and knew that when he came in he would have an impact straight away but you never know
if he’s going to settle early in a new country but he’s taken to it like a duck to water." Solskjaer will look to add more strength to his squad once the Premier League season has been
completed. "You have to have a good personality and that you are professional because one rotten apple in the basket will make the others rotten." United are currently fifth in the
Premier League table which could be enough to qualify for the Champions League if Manchester City's ban is upheld.
