Rafael Nadal was forced to withdraw from the Australian Open with injury, paving the way for Roger Federer to lift the title. The Swiss seized the opportunity and saw off Marin Cilic in the
final to claim his sixth crown in Melbourne. The win has put the 36-year-old within touching distance of Nadal in first place in the ATP world rankings. And despite the great rivalry between

in the treatment room following his leg injury which he sustained at the Australian Open. But he has admitted he expects to return to action later this month at the Mexican Open in
Acapulco. “Like in all the injuries, I am working to remain on schedule,” Nadal added. “So far my calendar is the same and I plan to travel to Mexico to play in Acapulco. “I am going to
play what makes me happy.”
