TUI is just one of many travel companies which have been hit by the coronavirus pandemic. Though travel corridors are in place, allowing for quarantine-free travel for Britons, these can

change rapidly leaving holiday plans in tatters.

Holiday provider TUI has committed to only flying customers to destinations where they will not require quarantine on either side.

This means that when countries are suddenly axed, the firm has dedicated itself to cancelling holidays in order to protect customers.

In a statement on its website, TUI says: “The UK Government reviews its travel advice on a weekly basis, and this can sometimes force us to make changes to our holiday programme.

“Please understand that we are doing all that we can to give you as much notice as possible about any changes to your holiday and we apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.”

The travel firm is currently only offering holidays to four destinations in line with the current Government guidance.

“If you have a holiday booked with us and it’s impacted by a change or cancellation, we’ll contact you to discuss your options,” vows TUI.

The holiday operator has also been forced to cancel a number of river and ocean cruises.
