amber list is. At the moment, everyone travelling back to England from Greece (even if you have been vaccinated) must quarantine at home, or in the place they are staying, for 10 days when

they get there and fill out a passenger locator form. They must also book and pay for COVID-19 tests to take on or before day two and on or after day eight. The Government website notes:

“You may be able to end quarantine early if you pay for a private COVID-19 test through the Test to Release scheme.” No one can be certain when Greece will be on the green list, but

Greece's tourism minister reckons it will be soon. Haris Theoharis said he was disappointed that Greece isn’t on the initial list, but is confident that Greece will be moved onto the

green list on June 7 with other destinations such as Spain, Croatia and Italy. However, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has suggested no more countries will be added to the list any time soon.

He has said: “There is a very limited list as you know and we will make sure that people travelling abroad will be subject to all the tests and restraints that people would expect to prevent

the virus from being reimported. "It's such a tiny list of countries and I don't expect we'll be adding to it very rapidly."
