Ryanair has issued a flight warning for British tourists travelling from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. An airline spokesperson said: “Potential delays to and from Liverpool due to snow.
“Affected passengers will be notified and any passengers travelling to and from Liverpool on Tuesday January 16 should check their Ryanair app for flight updates before travelling to the
airport. “We regret any inconvenience caused to passengers by this snowfall which are outside of Ryanair’s control and affect all airlines operating to and from Liverpool.” The Met Office
has issued a yellow weather warning for North West England due to snow and ice. It said: “An icy start with wintry showers in places, and also a local covering of snow. More general periods
of snow developing through the day, perhaps turning to rain in coastal regions.” Passengers have been advised to check the Ryanair app before travelling to the airport this morning. Affected
passengers with a delayed flight should be notified by the airline via the email or number they provided at booking.
