SHIPNOW OPENS IT OFFICE IN CHICAGO, APPOINTS EXECUTIVES Palo Alto, Calif.-based ShipNow has opened information technology offices in Chicago and has named Michael Stowe as chief
development officer and Jeff Block as chief technology officer. Both are based in the new office. Stowe was with AAR, a $1-billion airline parts consortium, after developing
AeroSpace.com. Block has 10 years of technology experience, serving as senior manager, enterprise technical services for Deloitte & Touche and vice president/chief technology officer
and co-founder of TheGolfer.com. ShipNow, which provides domestic and international logistics solutions for retail and business-to-business companies, will continue to base its sales,
business development, finance and professional services divisions in Palo Alto.
