concern that committee decisions affecting the public are made behind closed doors That is why I intend to hold a meeting where the public can meet the committee and find out how it works,


he said. Junior farm minister Baroness Hayman, who will attend, said: “I believe the open meeting should go a long way to dispel some of the myths concerning the committees role.” The
