Motorcyclist, 23, dies at scene of crash as woman arrested

A motorcyclist has tragically lost his life following a crash in County Durham. Emergency services were alerted to the collision, involving a motorcycle and a car on Williamfield Way, Newton


Aycliffe, just before 5.55pm on Tuesday. The 23-year-old biker sustained severe injuries and was sadly declared dead at the scene. A female was arrested in relation to the incident and


remains in police custody on Wednesday. An inquiry into the circumstances leading up to the collision is currently ongoing, and local residents can expect to see an increased police presence


in the area over the coming days. Investigators are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage of the vehicles prior to the incident. Anyone with information
