WHEN COULD THE M25 REOPEN? Elsewhere in Surrey, a section of the M25 has shut, for a new bridge to be built. Drivers will find diversions along local routes, in both directions. From
junction 10 in Wisley to junction 11 in Chertsey, the carriageway in both directions has shut. Surrey Highways worked to ensure that junction 9 in Leatherhead reopened before the full M25
closure. It is estimated that the M25 could reopen from 6am on Monday, July 15. In some cases, the M25 has opened earlier than anticipated, however, drivers should still expect delays. Here
are the diversion routes for the M25 closure: JUNCTION 10 TO JUNCTION 11 * North bound A3 to Painshill Junction, A245 towards Woking, and then A320 to M25 Junction 11. JUNCTION 11 TO
JUNCTION 10 * A320 south towards Woking, A245 towards Byfleet and Painshill junction, Southbound A3 to Junction 10. * Avoiding the closure by taking the M25 via the Dartford Crossing may
also be quicker.
