There was heavy traffic on a major route near Hampton Court in Surrey following a crash. The collision was first reported just before 12pm today (June 6) by traffic monitoring service Inrix.
At the time, it said: "A308 Hampton Court Road westbound blocked; queueing traffic due to accident from A309 Hampton Court Bridge (Hampton Court) to the Royal Mews. Congestion to Thames
Ditton back over the bridge, and long queues eastbound from Hampton village to Hampton Wick."
Those heading into Hampton from Molesey on the A309 got caught in delays as a result. Meanwhile, buses 111, 216 and R68 were diverted.

Traffic monitoring site Inrix has said that the major route near Hampton Court has now cleared following an earlier crash.
Inrix has said: "Road cleared and traffic easing, accident cleared on A308 Hampton Court Road Westbound from A309 Hampton Court Bridge (Hampton Court) to the Royal Mews. Still slow past
Hampton Court Palace towards Kingston."
