lawsuit, but legal papers were sort of tossed in her general direction Tuesday morning as she rode the courthouse elevator toward the courtroom for her probation hearing in Beverly Hills,


TMZ reports. The process server told TMZ he attempted to hand Lohan the papers, but she wouldn’t take them so he dropped them on the elevator floor by her feet. And the state of California


says that’s good enough, if it’s done face-to-face. The civil suit alleges that Lohan defrauded a Los Angeles boutique, Church, out of nearly $17,000 worth of clothing and accessories, TMZ
